Edgar Law Writes

Mediocre

The self-proclaimed
Scholars sit and complain
Unwilling to read
Unwilling to think
Only existing to take
Instead of read, understand,
Grow and heal.

Sabany

White socks, gum
chewing… easy to love.
Broad smile, crow’s
hair… a nice observation.

A new life wrapped
up like an ornate package,
a kiss… the bow on top.

Scarf

I am seduced
by the darkness of the image
again, pulled back into
what I used to be

A scarf flows in breeze
inviting me to a new
world

But I keep returning
to the old one
turning over stones.
